The Pendleton gives you two bowls with over 46 litres of combined capacity in an 800mm width, finished with sharp walls and a distinctive triangular edge. Wash in one bowl and rinse in the other, with a central 3.5 inch waste in each.

Will it fit?

The Pendleton measures 800 x 500 x 220mm (width x depth x height) and weighs about 59kg. Every Whitebirk sink is handmade and kiln-fired, so sizes can vary by up to 2% either way. Have your fitter measure the actual sink before cutting worktops or cabinets. As an apron-front sink it suits an 800mm base unit, and at this weight the cabinet must be reinforced or the sink supported on a frame.

Specification

Caring for your sink

Clean with warm water, a mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth, then rinse and wipe dry. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and harsh chemicals, and don't put very hot pans straight into the bowl. Whitebirk recommend Astonish Oven & Cookware cleaner for marks left by metal pans.

How big is the bowl inside?

Each bowl measures approx. 355 x 440 x 175mm inside (length x width x depth). These are approximate figures, as every Whitebirk sink is handmade.

What size base unit does the Pendleton need?

At 800mm wide, the Pendleton suits an 800mm base unit. Handmade fireclay can vary by up to 2%, so your fitter should measure the sink itself before cutting the cabinet or worktop.

How heavy is the Pendleton?

About 59kg. At this weight the base unit needs reinforcing, or the sink should sit on a support frame. Whitebirk recommend professional installation.

Which waste do I need?

The Pendleton has 2 x 3.5 inch outlets, so it takes two 3.5 inch basket strainers, standard or premium lever, or a waste disposal unit. The strainer comes with an overflow kit for the sink's overflow.

Is there a grid to protect the bowl?

Yes. Whitebirk make a custom-fit grid for the Pendleton: two grids, one per bowl, at 420 x 335mm, in stainless steel, black, white or a RAL colour.

Can I undermount or inset it instead?

Yes. Whitebirk say any of their kitchen sinks can be inset or undermounted with a support cradle underneath. The Understone Collection is designed specifically for inset and undermount fitting.
