Shaws Of Darwen Ribchester 1000 Belfast Kitchen Sink SO1000010WH

The Ribchester is the sink people picture when they say "Belfast" - a deep fluted apron front in heavy fireclay, made in Darwen by hand the way Shaws have done since 1897. The 1000 is the big one: two full-size bowls rather than one bowl and a compromise, which is what you want in a kitchen that actually gets cooked in.

Discontinued - two available

This size has been discontinued by Shaws and we have the last two in stock. Both are brand new and boxed. Once they are gone we cannot reorder, and the 1000 is not coming back.

Will it fit?

The sink measures 997mm long x 465mm wide x 234mm high, with two equal bowls each 443 x 391mm and 191mm deep. It needs a 1000mm cabinet run and proper support - fireclay this size is heavy, and it is not a two-person lift you want to improvise.

Please note: Shaws sinks are handmade and shrink during firing, so dimensions can vary by plus or minus 2%. Do not let anyone cut a worktop or cabinet before the sink is on site and measured. We would strongly recommend a specialist kitchen fitter.

About Shaws of Darwen

Shaws have been making fireclay sinks in Lancashire since 1897. Each one is cast, finished and fired by hand and carries the Shaws stamp. They are heavy, they are not cheap, and they outlast the kitchens they are fitted into.
