Inset & Undermount Fireclay Sinks
Not every fireclay sink has to be a Belfast. These are made to sit in the worktop: inset sinks drop into a cut-out and rest on the worktop surface, while undermount sinks are fixed beneath a solid worktop for a clean edge. Undermounting needs a solid surface such as stone or timber; laminate worktops take an inset fit.

All sizes are the manufacturers' published figures. Handmade fireclay can vary by up to 2% either way, so have your fitter measure the sink itself before cutting the cabinet or worktop.
Small prep sinks such as the Whitebirk Bispham pair well with a main inset bowl for a two-sink run.
