The Wycoller is Whitebirk's workstation sink: a large, deep 914mm single bowl that comes with a custom-fit wooden chopping board and a stainless steel grid. The front is reversible, plain on one side and panelled on the other, and there is no overflow to break up the bowl.

Will it fit?

The Wycoller measures 914 x 483 x 254mm (width x depth x height) and weighs about 26kg. Every Whitebirk sink is handmade and kiln-fired, so sizes can vary by up to 2% either way. Have your fitter measure the actual sink before cutting worktops or cabinets. As an apron-front sink it suits a 1000mm base unit. Make sure the cabinet is built to take the weight.

Specification

Caring for your sink

Clean with warm water, a mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth, then rinse and wipe dry. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and harsh chemicals, and don't put very hot pans straight into the bowl. Whitebirk recommend Astonish Oven & Cookware cleaner for marks left by metal pans.

What size base unit does the Wycoller need?

At 914mm wide, the Wycoller suits a 1000mm base unit. Handmade fireclay can vary by up to 2%, so your fitter should measure the sink itself before cutting the cabinet or worktop.

How heavy is the Wycoller?

About 26kg. Make sure the cabinet or worktop is built to carry it. Whitebirk recommend professional installation.

Which waste do I need?

The Wycoller has 1 x 3.5 inch outlet, so it takes one 3.5 inch basket strainer, standard or premium lever, or a waste disposal unit. It has no overflow, so no overflow kit is needed.

Is a grid included?

Yes. The Wycoller comes with a custom-fit stainless steel grid and a wooden chopping board.

What does reversible mean on the Wycoller?

You can fit the sink either way round. The front is plain on one side and panelled on the other, so you choose the look.

Can I undermount or inset it instead?

Yes. Whitebirk say any of their kitchen sinks can be inset or undermounted with a support cradle underneath. The Understone Collection is designed specifically for inset and undermount fitting.
