Whitebirk Mini Belfast 460mm Single Bowl Fireclay Belfast Sink

Whitebirk Mini Belfast 460mm Single Bowl Fireclay Belfast Sink

The Mini Belfast keeps everything that makes a Belfast sink work, the thick walls, deep bowl and side weir overflow, in a 460mm footprint. It is a good fit for a small kitchen, a utility room, a boot room or a second sink where a full-size Belfast will not go.

At a glance

Will it fit?

The Mini Belfast measures 460 x 380 x 205mm (width x depth x height) and weighs about 30kg. Every Whitebirk sink is handmade and kiln-fired, so sizes can vary by up to 2% either way. Have your fitter measure the actual sink before cutting worktops or cabinets. As an apron-front sink it needs a base unit sized to suit, so check with your fitter. Make sure the cabinet is built to take the weight.

Caring for your sink

Clean with warm water, a mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth, then rinse and wipe dry. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and harsh chemicals, and don't put very hot pans straight into the bowl. Whitebirk recommend Astonish Oven & Cookware cleaner for marks left by metal pans.

Every Whitebirk fireclay sink comes with a lifetime warranty from Whitebirk Sink Company. Ask us for the full terms.

Frequently asked questions

How heavy is the Mini Belfast?

About 30kg. Make sure the cabinet or worktop is built to carry it. Whitebirk recommend professional installation.

Which waste do I need?

The Mini Belfast has a 1.5 inch outlet with a side weir overflow, so it takes the Whitebirk 1.5 inch chrome basket strainer. The 3.5 inch strainers will not fit.

Can I undermount or inset it instead?

Yes. Whitebirk say any of their kitchen sinks can be inset or undermounted with a support cradle underneath. The Understone Collection is designed specifically for inset and undermount fitting.

Who makes Whitebirk sinks?

Whitebirk Sink Company, a division of Darwen Terracotta Limited. Every sink is handmade and kiln-fired at their factory in Blackburn, Lancashire, and carries a lifetime warranty.

About Whitebirk

Fireclay sink making began in Whitebirk, Lancashire in the late 1800s. Whitebirk Sink Company still makes every sink by hand at its Blackburn factory, and names each one after a Lancashire village, valley or landmark. The company describes itself as the last British-owned manufacturer of traditional fireclay sinks.
