IMEX Suburb/Flite/Xcite Open Back Close Coupled Pan

The Suburb/Flite/Xcite Open Back Close Coupled Pan (code C1063C) brings IMEX's renowned ceramic quality to your bathroom, with the practical convenience of a self-contained close-coupled design.

About Close-Coupled WCs

A close-coupled toilet pairs the WC pan and cistern together in one self-contained unit - the cistern sits directly on top of the pan with no exposed pipework between them. This makes close-coupled toilets quicker to install than back-to-wall or wall-hung alternatives, and easier to repair (all parts accessible). They suit family bathrooms, en-suites and rental properties where reliability and serviceability matter most. Pair this pan with the matching IMEX cistern and a soft-close seat for a complete close-coupled WC.

Installation Notes

Close-coupled WCs are typically installed by a plumber in 1-2 hours. You'll need: the matching cistern (sold separately or as part of the IMEX suite), a soft-close seat, a standard 14mm flexi-tail isolating valve for water supply, and a 100mm soil pipe connection. Allow ~30 minutes for ceramic to settle on silicone before attaching the cistern.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Avoid bleach on the seat surface (it can discolour plastic) and scouring pads on the ceramic (they leave fine scratches that hold dirt). Vinegar diluted 1:5 with water is a good limescale remover. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to prevent residue marks.
