IMEX Ravine Matt Black Two Handle, Two Outlet, Concealed Thermostatic Shower

The Ravine Matt Black Two Handle, Two Outlet, Concealed Thermostatic Shower (6008MB) is a complete thermostatic shower kit from IMEX - safe water temperature with anti-scald protection, plus head, handset and hose included.

About Thermostatic Showers

A thermostatic shower keeps water temperature constant even if someone else flushes the loo or runs a tap. An anti-scald stop protects users (especially children) from sudden hot bursts. IMEX thermostatic systems include a temperature stop you can adjust during installation, and the cartridge replaces in minutes if it ever wears out.

Key Features

• Thermostatic temperature control - safe and consistent
• Anti-scald protection (factory-set 38°C)
• Solid brass valve body
• Easy-replace cartridge for long service life
• WRAS approved
• Compatible with combi and mains-pressure systems
• Product code: 6008MB
• Finish: Matt Black
• Range: IMEX Ravine

Installation Notes

Thermostatic shower kits connect to hot and cold supplies (typically 15mm). The valve must be installed with hot on one side and cold on the other - check the orientation marked on the valve body. Test the temperature stop during commissioning before tiling around the unit.

Care & Maintenance

Clean your tap with a damp soft cloth and a mild detergent - no scouring pads, no bleach, no acidic cleaners (these can pit the finish). Hard-water areas may see limescale build-up; a 1:5 vinegar-water solution dissolves it without damaging plated finishes. Wipe dry after cleaning to prevent watermarks.
