About Single-Ended Baths

A single-ended bath has the tap end at one end and a curved backrest at the other - the classic British bath profile. Suitable for showering at the tap end (with a screen) or relaxing back. Cast-reinforced acrylic baths combine the warmth of acrylic with the strength of reinforced fibreglass underside.

Installation Notes

IMEX baths come with adjustable feet for levelling. Build a stud-wall surround if your tiled wall isn't already in place, then secure the bath to the surround with the supplied brackets. Always silicone the bath edge to the wall - this prevents water tracking down into the floor void below.

Care & Maintenance

Acrylic baths clean easily with warm soapy water - no abrasives, no solvent cleaners (these can dull or craze the finish). For stains, a paste of bicarbonate of soda works well. Anti-slip finishes need cleaning more often as the textured surface traps dirt.
