IMEX Arco / Blade / Alma / Duro Slimline Wrap soft close, quick release Duraplus Seat in Black (replaces S1088SLBL)

Long-life Duraplus material, a soft-close hinge and quick-release fixings - the Arco / Blade / Alma / Duro Slimline Wrap soft close, quick release Duraplus Seat in Black (replaces S1088SLBL) (SSW1088SCQRBL) is the matched seat for IMEX Arco pans.

About Soft-Close Toilet Seats

A soft-close seat eliminates the slam that traditional toilet seats are notorious for - the lid lowers slowly and quietly, even if you let it go. Quick-release fixings let you lift the seat off completely for thorough cleaning around the hinges. IMEX Duraplus is a high-density thermoplastic that resists chips and scratches better than standard MDF or thinner plastics.

Installation Notes

Soft-close seats fit using two threaded bolts that drop through the pan's seat holes. Tighten the wing nuts hand-tight only - over-tightening can crack ceramic. The quick-release mechanism lets you lift the seat off the hinge body for thorough cleaning around the fixings.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Avoid bleach on the seat surface (it can discolour plastic) and scouring pads on the ceramic (they leave fine scratches that hold dirt). Vinegar diluted 1:5 with water is a good limescale remover. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to prevent residue marks.
